  • No, it doesn’t. I sat through the Dan Lloyd intro video and he was clear on that.

  • That could tempt me then. Thanks. Must check when my Eurosport subscription ends.

  • Ineos getting another rebrand. Changing name to Ineos Grenadier after the Land Rover Defender-style car Ineos are making. Also changing colours to blue.

  • As @umop3pisdn pointed out, the new kit looks like the Aqua Blue kit.

  • Makes sense. Mamils are more likely to buy 4x4 than to buy industrial chemicals.

  • Oh for fucks sake Carlos, again!

  • I've just been reading about that ugly 4x4 and it turned out they planned to build it in Wales and it looks like they're reneging on it to build it in France instead.

Is changing the name of the team co-led by Geraint Thomas a way of placating the Welsh? Is moving production to France a way to try to make the team less hated by the French?

Probably not, but Ratcliffe is a cunt.

  • It made me nervous reading about 100 of Colombia's beat cyclists and other athletes all on same flight. If anything went wrong it would be devastating for the sport. Maybe Carlos was thinking the same thing.

  • Or he was in the line at Greggs at the airport and just got too engrossed in his steak slice.

  • Over the weight limit for a single seat and he stormed off in protest about paying for a second

  • The reason cited, a family illness, could be genuine. It’s possible Movistar management are aware of the situation and completely cool with it.

  • stop being rational, you're meant to post a comment about his weight

something, something all you can eat buffet at the airport something

  • My guess is he realised the biggest market for his new car is outside the UK so building it in the UK was a mistake given the current "issues" with trade deals.

  • The thing I hate about the whole Ratcliffe/Grandier thing is that when Jaguar LandRover refused to sell him the old Defender tooling, he just decided to carry on anyway, and laugh at JLR when they gave up trying to sue him because they dont have an ocean of disposable income to piss away on lawsuits like he does.

Also, how could you possibly 're-engineer the 4x4 for the 21st century' and put a fucking fossil fuel burning engine in it. There would have at least been a point to the whole thing if it was electric, but no, that wasnt cunty enough for Ratcliffe.

Total, complete cunt. Probably even more so than their previous supreme leader cunt, Grande Cunt Murdoch.

He offered to buy after they stopped making them, they said no and then he found out they didn't have patents/trademarks/whatever covering the shape so copied it. Their hard luck and you'd think that a 25B+ company would have thought someone might do this sooner or later and covered their arses. Not arguing that Ratfcliffe is a nice guy, just that I don't have a huge amount of sympathy for a huge company who are annoyed someone copied a design they didn't properly protect.

  • What about a sweepstake on who will be the first forumenger to buy one?

  • It's a vanity project, they won't sell many of them. People (farmers) that want a proper utilitarian vehicle buy a Japanese pickup, people that want an urban SUV will buy a G-Wagen or the new Defender. Off-roaders will buy a 10 year old Discovery. There's no market for it.

  • Annemiek Van Vleuten picking up exactly where she left off with a win in the Emakumeen Nafarroako Klasikoa in Spain.

She’s ridden two races this year and won them both.

  • GvA off to AG2R apparently.

  • #3 is in the pocket too. And on Sunday there's Durango-Durango

And then, next up: Strade Bianche!

so much looking forward to the pro races, but at the same time, covid is flaring up again everywhere... let's hope the organisations and spectators will do a good job at keeping things safe/socially distanced.

  • Had a Facebook memory of one of my pictures from the Alpe seven years ago when they went up it twice. We weren’t really sure what we were doing and before we’d realised we were driving up it - we’d intended to park at the bottom and walk up - of course, once we’d started the ascent, there was no way we’d be able to turn around before getting to the top. Having never been, we just randomly decided to park up and, by fate, the next corner was the Dutch corner!

Banging techno and a bar serving cold draught beer and hot chips. It was fucking heaven.

  • #4 in the pocket now as well. Hard to see how other teams can beat her at Strade Bianche too.

  • That was a great stage. We were just above Dutch corner and walked down during the run up to the riders coming up. Seeing them doing sitting rowing up hill was one of the funniest things I’ve seen.
