Good news for him.
What’s Adam Blythe up to? Has he retired to focus on a media career?
Lots of rumours at the Vuelta that Roglic will leave Jumbo-Visma for UAE.
Tour of Gammon neutralisation is a bit daft.
For the second day running, @taogeogheganhart is in the break at the Vuelta and in contention for the stage win.
Come on Tao! Or Knox!
Tao trying to close the gap to Fuglsang.
Second place behind Fuglsang, well played @taogeogheganhart
Knox has done well, could be in the top ten in GC at the end of the day.
11th. Great ride though.
Dombrowski off to UAE. I thought he was at EF for life.
Well, yes. But he’s barely raced this season, something like 32 race days, which is half of what you’d expect, and he only signed a one year deal with them, and he’s spent most of the past few months working for Eurosport at the Tour and now the Vuelta.
To me it looks like he’s retired.
a 2nd on the king / queen stage and a 3rd the day before
well in tao
He was supposed to be in the leadout train for Caleb I believe, but considering Caleb has been doing just fine, doesn't look like there is much space for him there.
Curious to see how pro contracts work when their riders spend a large proportion of their time working for someone else...
Surprised to find out that it was Fuglsang's first GT stage win.
That would be a backward step wouldn't it? Unless they are paying mega dollars and he wants to ride with another Slovenian?
Yeah. He has been shooting for GT overall wins too much to get stages. I hope he forgets about overall GT classifications and focuses on just riding like he did yesterday.
UAE don’t have a GC rider of the quality of Roglic.
They don't have the team to support him either.
He’s a twenty year old neo pro, you can’t expect him to lead the team in GTs yet. Let him ride without pressure.
They have beefed up their GC support team; Formolo, Dombrowski and McNulty all signed for next year.
