Shocking news about Adrien Costa
Fucking hell watching San Sebastian and that crash omfg horrifying. They put so much on the line, fuck the haters
Fuck. That's horrific. I thought it would have been a crash or training accident, but a boulder when climbing?
That’s horrible, poor guy.
Tejay Van Garderen to ef
He took a break from cycling for 2018 then announced in February that he wouldn't be returning to Axeon. He pretty much said that he didn't have it in him to race any more. He stopped racing after Chad Young's fatal accident in the Tour of the Gila last year and while he never said it overtly, I presumed Chad's death was a factor. He seems to have been pretty focused on climbing this year.
Horrible news anyway. I hope he can find the strength to get over this.
So will G go to CCC or will either G see sense and rename himself C or will CCC become GGG?
Just posturing from CCC.
Rohan Dennis to Bahrain-Merida
He and Nibbles could work well together on a tour.
They need him for the TTT
Cav's out of Sundays road race.

Chaves out with mono fingamajig that makes you tired.
Any idea what the total elevation is for the men’s race? Looks like a big day of climbing.
Shame they’ve flattened the women’s race so much.
"I think we can get the best out of him using an approach that gets him back to thinking about bike racing as fun as opposed to shouldering the weight of being the next great hope in American cycling.” - @Vaughters on Van Garderen
In other news Pierre Rolland signed for Vital Concept today LOL
4865m men’s race, 2692m women’s race
^ so frustrating – fans&riders have been saying the same thing for so long – what are the factors that are impeding progress on this?? I genuinely don't get it
(eta – the 'flattening out' of women's parcours vs men's)
That's Reza's team. Pretty much a retirement home for French and Belgian riders.
Vaughters is saying the same exact same "diamond in the rough" sponsor assuring shit about TVG that he was saying about Rolland in 2016 who then won exactly two race stages and went Pro Conti.
TvG could have cut out the middleman and signed for United Healthcare.
Could be a long old season for BMCCC next year.
With GvA and those other electric riders left maybe BMCCC should do a sponsorship tie-up with TM Lewin, Peroni and Jack Wills. The rider/fan overlap market could be huge.
Christ, Ullrich is on a spiral, isn't this the second arrest this week?
Apparently, he has a knee injury and can't ride his bike(s). His broken marriage is obviously the biggest concern, but it would probably help if he could get out and ride for a bit.
The more horrific thing is that Armstrong has offered to pop over and help.
