couple of f10s spotted this morning in regents. i think the very gorgeous red one from these pages ?
Me! What were you riding I might well have spotted you ✋
errmm just a regular caad 12, i just popped in for coffee, no laps
utter porn imo
Recent purchase. Got mostly all the parts at home, still need a 110 campy bb, some brakes, maybe a 100mm stem and a crownrace seal for my campy chorus headset.
Stickers are shit.
This is so good
New Regina SC chain and Campagnolo Record rims
Just waiting on a stem to allow internal routing into the headtube!
This is really nice. What are those wheels / rims?
Look like Mavic Open Pro Carbon UST
Thinking of trying them myself.
That’s the ticket! Built them onto CK’s. I’m chuffed with them I’ll be honest - went from a set of OTP Bora’s with the ac3 brake surface. The braking on these is substantially better. Obviously being handbuilt and shallow section they are the smoothest rolling wheel I’ve ridden over bumpy stuff. 10/10 would recommend
Whats the weight on the wheelset in total?
Thanks ! Wheels come in at 1390g with CXray spokes and Alu nipples. 24h front and 28h rear
Would love a pair for my caad 3 but just figured out that one rim exceeds the price of my current (2nd hand) reynolds wheelset =(
this is genuinely amazing. Really one of my favourite forum bikes
if you ever sell...
Do you recall the spoke lengths you used?
what rim and hub combo is that-looking to get some lightweight wheels built over winter
5 months later, still need some work/tweaking on it, but apart from a stem change, bars and bartape too, it's mostly done.
Groupset chorus and record, mavic open sup ceramic rims.
After a long time trying to make my old winter bike work it was just too big - so see my new (old) Team Sky Paris frameset from 2010. Yes that name is Boasson-Hagen!!
DA 7800 a little old for the frame but I think it works!
