Having had my bike nicked (89 Peugeot mixte Camargue, blue grey, rusty and dingy, Charge tan Spoon saddle, CXC pedals etc, I'm more or less done mourning it now but if you spot it or its parts for sale drop me a line because bastards) I'm trying to put together a replacement. I'm from Birmingham where the city bike co-op runs a tool club weekly, like a shared workshop. Is there anything like that here? Would people be interested in getting a simple community workshop night up and running?
I don't know if anything exists, and I don't really have the spare time either, but I can lend you some tools if you need them
Just learnt that Transition Cambridge have something like this in the pipeline. I've put myself forward to maybe make it happen for definite. Will post if more info!
