Eccentric BB, white industries ENO rear hub or 'magic gear' the f@ck out of it...

search magic gear to see how to calculate the optimum chain and cog and chainring sizes for your specific set up ... or get an eccentric bottom bracket which allows you to take up the slack

I've got a half link on ATM. It runs ok but it is still too slack really. I'll try sizing up the chain ring if not weld on some track dropouts ;)

Half link chains are ugly as sin, as is puppy killing the frame for new dropouts. Just magic gear it, you'll get it perfect without any unnecessary hassle.
