For Sale: US built Titanium Frame - 56tt - Planet X Sportive Sample

After being super excited to build this into a dream road machine of minimalist styling I was fitted on it to find out that its just a shade too small and as I wanted it to fit like a glove I've decided to let it go.

The model is 'Sportive Ti'but from looking online they never actually sold this particular model, with the PXtitanium frames all being form Lynksey as far as I can tell.

As the pictures show it is a raw titanium finish with 'Hand crafted in America' and 'Hand built by Saratoga Frameworks' decals.

Images also show 'PLX Demo 03' stamp under BB shell.

I've never built the frame up, but presume it has been built as a Planet X sample frame. The condition is as new with only slight wear to the one Decal as shown in pictures.

I'm looking for £550 for the frame, posted in the UK (I'm based in Cardiff).

I've got a new black Hope headset arriving soon which was intended for the build so can include that if anyone want to make an offer for it?

that was not built by lynskey

sarratoga frameworks was a short lived company set up by ex serotta employees

if anything it will be a nicer frame than a lynskey

Sorry if it wasn't clear...its definitely a Saratoga frame, was just pointing out that all frames you will see on the Planet X site will be Lynksey rather than the same as this.

i think most of the planet x ti frames are now made by van nicholas

your frame is probably much nicer, good chance it is made with US titanium, and that brake bridge looks like it may even be an old serotta one, i just don't need another titanium frame

Both spot on...unfortunately I don't have a fork around to use for the purpose.

Yep £599...anyone is welcome to make my day and get me my money back (I'll split the bonus money with the forum) but all round I'm just looking to get the frame on to someone who can build it and not have it sitting round as an expensive ornament when rent day comes!
