Wanted: 7 children's bicycles for a film set in 1947

A friend is looking for the following:

7 children's bicycles for a film set in 1947
Apparently there weren't many bikes being produced during war so would probably be 1930's models.
Need different sizes for a group of 4yrs - 12 yrs old

If anyone has something suitable, or any bright ideas where to find them, please let me know. Thanks. C

You could try the Pinkerton collection at the National Cycling Centre (aka the velodrome) in Manchester or the Transport Museum in Coventry. I'm fairly sure that both would have something suitable. Whether or not they loan them out is another matter.
