  • Much chrome!

Pardon me asking - you sent the hubs to Italy to be built up. Is that for cane rims or something else so specialist that your builder has to be a thousand miles away?

  • This thing looks mental. Good work.

  • serious question though, would they let you on a velodrome with a stem like that, it's a bit pointy..

  • Ah, so I guessed right, sorta. Cane rims, hickory rims, all terribly fancy / retrogrouchy.

Didn't you know it's all about old school mtb's at the moment?

  • This is a great thread on a very very interesting bike, why cant people leave alone if they arnet really interested! & take a look at the other threads that may interest them more!!!!!!!!
PS: Been looking on the net for another one like this can find one anywhere.

  • Thanks for introducing "old school mountain bikes" into this Fixed gear and Single Speed thread. Perhaps you would like to mention some of your other rural or agricultural interests.

    Hah, pwned.

^^It looks like a lovely bike. I'm just taking the piss. Welcome to lfgss.

@op Which is your nearest track? It'll be great to see this bike ridden sometime.

  • When's the frame back from chroming? It's going to look incredible, but isn't it also going to weigh a ton given all that chrome? Very nice project either way.

  • Ah, that makes sense - cheers for clarifying. Looking forward to seeing the results.

  • I'm sure I am going to be very quickly schooled on this but is this frame before the bi-laminate lug phase for cb's?

  • Claps hands at top quality schooling :-)

  • This is a really awesome project. Look forward to seeing it develop :)

  • Do we have to wait till the pedals turn up till we see the frame? :0)

    Tease!

  • so, we are only going to see the finished bike? no process stages?
