For selling? That's ace
Looks great, would deffo buy one if available?
Thanks! Should have a couple of copies available; need to work out how much I owe the guy who runs the press for paper etc, but probably about £20 if folks are interested? C. 26x57cm, printed letterpress on handmade paper.
If you could post, I'd be up for one. Do like a bit of lino printing. Nice work.
That's superb, good work @Thrustvector
Great stuff, might be worth tagging @Velocio even if it's not him (as he took the name in homage to the old Velocio IIRC).
I'd take two. Should we start a list?
3) Oliver Schick (x2)
Wow, a Lufguss list - I feel like I've made it! I've had a look and I've got a mix of prints on different papers (laid and wove) left; the type hasn't been broken down yet, so if there's a lot of interest I can probably do another (shortish) run. Will get a classifieds up shortly and see how we go.
Yep, that sounds good. Would be happy to order one when possible.
Classifieds ad now up: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/339526/
Thought I'd share a recent one. Trying to get some characters done at the moment as it's an area I generally shy away from. Instagram here
Is anyone on here good at making stencils. I've tried a couple of time and I reckon I'm either or over complicating it.
Are they any websites tutorials?
I especially like point 4
A regular 400ml can of paint will give you up to 50 A4 sized stencils. This means you can become incredibly famous/unpopular in a small town virtually overnight for approximately ten pounds.
Personally I think this is Banksy's seminal work. I very much dislike his actual 'practice'.
You can't please everyone. He's made a good living out of being an artist.
My favourite take away from that:
You don’t go to a restaurant and order a meal because you want to have a shit.
I'm up next!
Very nice. I've been posting in the covid art club. Im not a professional but have always enjoyed drawing doodling etc. Here are a couple of recent bits.
Paint and ink on found wood
Arctic Tern, Oil on panel, 22 x 17cm
