  • I bought this frame here on the forum from bugloss. That bike was built really fast, most components I've already had and missing just appeared in the right moment.
The frame has original paint and chrome. It is in very good shape, it has only small patches of rust in the places where clamps were fitted.
Bottom bracket and chainset came from my other bike (F.W. Evans) that is being converted to single speed atm. Brake calipers, saddle and stem are from the forum. Derailleurs, brake levers and shifters I've already had, handlebar came from fleabay. Pedals Hilary S.
So at the moment the setup is: Wheels - Campagnolo high flange and Fiamme Brevetto Longhi rims 32/40 spokes front/rear. Stem GB spearpoint and GB Maes handlebar. Campagnolo Record derailleurs (one of the first generations, made out of chromed bronze), seatpost, headset, brake calipers and levers Campagnolo Record as well. Stronglight Competition bottom bracket and Stronglight 49d Chainset. Barelli Supreme pedals with alloy cages.
    Here some photos:

  • That's beautiful and sure belies a 'quick build'.
    My size, too.
