Hi, I've bought a bike on eBay thinking Derby was closer than it actually is, so I was wondering if anyone is able to collect and post a bike for me (to York).
I'd pay petrol/whatever and buy you a pint.
Really? There's trains every half an hour.....
Have you seen train fares recently? I have a car, I just don't fancy schlepping it down there for one bike.
I've tried the guys in retrobike who offer to collect stuff but no joy.
Put it in a bike box and post it?
I might be able to help.
PM'd. An alternative would be someone who goes between Derby area and the North, I can meet in Leeds or something. It's just the 4 hour round trip I'm trying to avoid.
What size bike is it? Can I ride it home?
I live in Nottingham.
It's a Mixte, but I'm not sure it's ridable. It's in Breaston, so about 7 miles out of Nottingham I think.
I'll PM you details.
Pm'd back. Only issue for me is timing of couriering it out to you.
Hope to be able to help, but its a busy week.
