  • On to the next one (still got stuff to do on the Concorde but you know, gotta keep the old noggin busy, thinking)

    • HB-7710 hubs will go on the TX profil rear and Mavic CD2 tubby front. Hopefully I can re-use the spokes on the rear.

    • Got a green Vittoria Juniores 24" tub that'll go on the front. Yep, clown funny beik steez.

    • Will use the shimano 600 post until I can source a syncro (winkwink Marc)

    • Will have to get the 105 hs off somehow, nut seems to be stuck on there so I might have to hacksaw it. Any other method than oil/fire/freeze/hack I would gladly take into consideration. Will fit a mavic 305 on there that I got in the parts bin.

    • Dura Ace 7600 bb, Dura Ace 7600 cranks / chainring, Dura Ace lockring and 16t cog.

    • Got two setups of cockpit, one riser setup consisting of a grey/silver quill Ergostem and some no-name riser and one with a 3t quill stem and an uncut 3t moscow.

On this I'm getting platforms and straps so any recommendations on pedals and straps, just hit me!

If you got any for sale just hit me up over PM.

  • Tighten the lower nut first, this should relieve the pressure on the upper nut, allowing removal (;

  • I feel sheepish

  • ?

Just careful you don't round it off.

'Why didn't I think of that, I'm such a mong'.

  • inline seatpost combined with risers will kill your shoulders / arms area instantly. you will feel the need to vary hand position while riding. position is harsh on a 26" front, but on a 24"front............. bullhorn bars are the logic option....believe me!

dive top nut upside down in wd40

  • Setback then?

  • if you like to go with the risers i´d suggest a setback post, yes.

  • Setback it is then!

  • Headset progress?

  • Going to the cave today and'll give it a go. Also picking up the spokes for the SL42 build. #wheelday

  • Couldn't budge the topnut, might have to hack it.

  • get a cup wd40 or simular, dive in the top nut upside down for 1 or 2 days....might also use a old front wheel in the forks to be able to apply more tourque...
