Hi! Here's a little insight into my project, which is part of my master's degree in fine arts.
Comments, thoughts, critiques, discussions, tips, advice, ideas, are greatly appreciated!
I am speechless! I am without speech.
Looks brilliant, well done mate!
well done! great project :-)
Fuck that's cool!
This adds a whole new angle to the 'replica' debate.
Awesome! The part with the frontwheel and the vise made me laugh
I am completely amazed, the only tell-tale sign of the frame's former life was the rear drop out.
That workshop . . .
Also, great project :)
Really great work, it looks very good.
I'm not sure if you intend to ride this at all, but those welds don't look good enough to be trusted IMO, especially the head tube one.
Lars - great project - you are both artist and artisan! I could not have imagined that such a transformation would be possible. Great imagination - love the disk wheels. Only advice is keep it up!
was considering building a laser myself, great to know it can have such an amazing outcome
For the skim readers:
not sure, love it or hate it...
That's fucking fantastic! I'm lost for words
build more things.
Is this a replica?
Well done man, great build!
This project is full of awesomeness!
I like this quite a lot. I especially like "My amateurish craft will in many aspects differ from its original and my ambition is that the first emotional sight of the sculpture will clash with the second, more detail glance."
I also very much like the way you have run the brake cable into the handlebar, is that copied off the original or is it artistic licence? Whichever, very nice.
