Ive got one. if you can make it camden tomorrow you can borrow it. But you can use a coin instead iirc.
If you are removing a crank arm make sure you back the pinch bolts off before trying to back off the preload cap.

Hang on, which are the pinch bolts?

The two allen bolts that clamp the arm on to the axle.
You need to back them off before the preload cap will budge, as when the allen bolts are tightened the crank arm closes, clamping the preload cap in place.
