  • Then what? Hold that and a wrench and twist?

  • Big breaker bar on the lockring tool, hold the Danstuff Extension Bar and push down on the breaker bar. Fingers crossed...

  • I just bought a huge bench vice. It's heavy enough just sitting on the floor with no bench. How are you keeping the tool in the lockring? It likes downward pressure.

  • My house came with two workbenches - one in the barn, one in the workshop. Both had bench vices already.

  • Zip ties. I have a couple of bench vices here at home, but the Rotor cranks are with @Cycliste in Switzerland and she doesn't. Hence the tool.

  • Buy a new home! ;-)

  • In Switzerland? I wish. Not with my British Pesos. I can barely afford a decent sized cardboard box in Switzerland.

  • It came with sheep shit and a four hour commute to my office too though so swings and RABs. :P

  • How much is a Swiss bench vice? Do they even do one without diamonds on it?

  • How much is a Swiss bench vice?

If you have to ask etc...

  • ok who has the 24mm axle lockring tool that I can borrow pls?

  • How hard is it to make a road 3D+ road crankset into a track crankset? And would i need any special tools to make it work?

Saw the track axle with spider on the rotor site but is it possible? Dont feel like buying a new axle with spider and a new bb just for nothing

  • I got that shit

  • Does anyone have some spare cranks with the aero/MAS spider?

  • I have bought a Rotor 3D30 that comes with the Cervelo 11.5mm spacer. Need to fit it to a Ridley Fenix with BB86.

So I need to swap Spider and Lockring to standard ones. Velotech will do for £85 but wondered if anyone had a standard 110 spider and lockring after power meter install etc? Also does the spider tool for standard lock ring also fit the holes in the Cervelo lockring - Velotech seem to suggest it is different 🤷♂️

  • does the spider tool for standard lock ring also fit the holes in the Cervelo lockring

    Yes. Mind did, anyway.

  • wondered if anyone had a standard 110 spider and lockring after power meter install etc?

Can't help with the lockring, but I've had a root around in my cranks box and found a spare Rotor 110mm spider. Yours if you want it.

  • Ah legend!!!

How can I get in touch to arrange payment and postage???

  • And which Tool did you use @Brommers ?

  • Send me a PM with your address. No need for any money, but feel free to make a forum donation.

  • I think it would have been the Power2Max rotor tool as seen here.

  • I'm also after one those spider removal tools (for 3D+ cranks).... anyone in London have one I could borrow? I'm in SE6, Catford
