For Sale: Dawes Galaxy Mixte

Dawes Galaxy Mixte 21 inch frame, Reynolds 531 Super Tourist tubing on frame, stays and forks. Weinnemann alloy rims. Stronglight drillium chainset 12 speed indexed gears - suntour braze on shifters. Suntour superbe pro rear derailleur. It's probably late 1970s - 1980s I would guess (the indexed gears I have added since I got it.) Rims are good condition - little wear and no rust.

New: Schwalbe Marathon tyres front and rear, new inner tubes in both, plus new handlebar grips, brake and gear cables, straddle wires for cantilevers, Clarks brake blocks with housing, Shimano 6 speed freewheel, Tange headset.

The Bad Bits: There is quite a lot of scratching on the chain stay, also the seat tube bolt (allen key fitting) is getting a bit stripped on one side and probably should be replaced.

Asking £180 for it collection from Southampton area or anywhere down the M3 - or else pick up from Waterloo with a contribution towards rail fare. Donation to the forum from any sale.
