I thought that it would be good to give some imho deserved recognition to polish frames and creators - some pretty awesome work dating back to the commie times (when we were quite a power) is still surfacing from time to time..
Many forumengers have been riding and owning these, so if you have any more info and pics please share - from time to time I will try to update the thread with some useful info about active builders as well, so with your help, this could become a database in itself, who knows...
anyway, to the business:
and my romet! such a tight frame.
yesterday I have just finished Kajak Custom framebuilding course
some of you may know Kamil, he used to work for 14bikeco
where is he based now?
he lives and has his workshop in Wrocław
here's a little photo tour
also, not many people know, that actually a polish builder is behind most of La Piovra frames promoted by BLB. and although there are mixed opinions on the shop and the agenda, you have to admit the tasty curves of frames like that are to be admired:
I've been umming and arrring over the rychtarski that is BIN on ebay for a month now. It just got relisted again so maybe will last til payday.
what, this one?
looks defo nice.
oh yeah, and one of my contenders
Yeah that's it. Gonna make him an offer for it as it hasn't sold twice now. Thinking black parts and risers.
The lo-pro is amazing.
another absolutely lush rychtarski in candy pink
That is awesome. anyone on here ordered direct from them?
Loved my Rychtarski, gutted it's now bent like a banana!
another shot of the Dedacciai Zero Uno frame (campagnolo trackends too)
This thread is only hiking the prices up, you traitor! :-)
I will be probably a victim of this as well at some point
still chasing a rychtarski in 56 with aero gussets
I'm still not sure if I should just order a cheap Mielec's Mash knock-off, get a 2nd hand Keirin frame or save up and have ti build to meaure in Taiwan, but keep it without any finishing kit for months.
Same as one above perhaps or else there's more than one of em out there.. this one was on yahoo auctions a few months ago frame only, carbon gussets, columbus max..
Obviously the bike is for hill climbing
German Textima, isn't it?
