It's been a long, long time since the last decent Newcastle Event. I'm up for organising an Alley Cat race with proper check points like the last C.O.T.T events and then throw a sprint, skid & track stand comp in for good measure.
Are there enough people in Newcastle to even hold an event anymore? If enough people are interested i'll put the work in and sort this out. I'd need about 4 or 5 people to help with checkpoints/marshal and then we need some racers.
One saturday night in August?
*The whole point of this is simply to have fun so leave your rulers at home, this is no place for dick measuring.
yeh dont fuck with marks ruler guys
I'll pop along.
***im up for racing, but if there are not enough marshals than i shall marshal
No longer riding my fixed gear, sadly had to let it go earlier this year. Enjoyed the last one so might still come along on my road bike or 29er and join in on the banter.
Hi Guys, is this event still on and when?? Back up North as of next Monday (21st) so if the event is around then count me in ;)
Don't think it's going to be happening. There's just not enough interest to really bother putting it together. I have friends in Manchester and Leeds that could get a group together from each city and potentially travel up, but it would be a wasted journey if there wasn't a decent local turnout to represent the North East scene.
Ah no wounded...Well how about pulling resources together and setting up an event? Even if we just set up a few little meets to get interest then have a look at an alleycat later on??? You going London's Calling?
