  • Angry men not that interesting to the media. I think it's people that are angry, generally.

  • When did women get so angry?

They always were, the answer is "when Twatter was created".

  • Mmhmm. I'd like to think she's learned from it, at the very least.

yeah, don't post it on twitter. Much like Emma "I'm sorry for the tweet but not the assault" Way.

  • I'm tempted to create a Twitter thread about banging on car roofs, jumping red lights, smashing wing mirrors off and laughing at all motorists in general to see if the motoring community hounds me in the same way as the cycling community does to motorists.

  • damage limitation exercise, new account - I don't buy it - someone is gonna come forward on this I reckon

  • No they won't. It was clearly a bit of handbags. She just decided the rest of the world wanted to hear her decidedly dumb, exaggerated take on things and that crashing into people on bikes would be seen as funny. Stupid dick is stupid. Nothing to see here.

  • yeah guess it would have happened by now

  • Surely she has given evidence that she has committed two offences (drink driving and failing to stop)?

If she has not committed these crimes then it is now down to her to prove otherwise (which is difficult).

    IMHO.

I would also argue that (morally for now, but ideally in the eyes of the law too one day) then the punishment for boasting about committing a crime should be the same as the punishment for committing it.

    I killed a guy with a trident.

  • TW2 repped for underlining how daft Jeez's suggestion was.

  • Oh apparently I have to do some spreading. The thought was there though.

  • ...sokay, I've already spoken to him about that.

  • I killed a guy with a trident.

You told me it was a pitchfork.

  • TW2 repped for underlining how daft Jeez's suggestion was.

I repped for you: anyone underlining how daft Jeez is deserves rep in my book

  • You clearly don't understand that Jeez speaks with Moral Authority, so when he says something that sounds bonkers it is because we are imperfect- immoral, to be blunt, and we need to recast ourselves closer to his image in order that his writings make greater sense.

  • I'm sure you are all far too highbrow to read the Mailonline but worth scoping out the comments at the bottom of the page. There are some angry people on that forum - makes lfgss look positively Zen like. All seem to be badly informed and anti-cycling/bike

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2384794/I-purposely-run-LOL-Police-probe-motorists-tweet-row-cyclist.html

  • Wait... you're recommending we read the comments at the foot of a Daily Mail article involving cycling? I'd honestly rather drink the oil from a catering sized tin of anchovies.

  • I killed a guy with a trident.

I didn't even know you were in the Navy.

  • Where did he get a trident from?

Fucking hell, I've been scouring eBay for ages for one....

If you do go down, can I have it?

  • Ha yep - even the Ride London coverage that the Mail carried had a load of comments underneath talking about road tax and insurance.

The psychology of those who bother to comment on the Mail Online must be interesting / terrifying. I imagine there are a lot of spittle flecked monitors out there.

  • Feel sorry for her now. This is probably the most significant moment of her life.

    From the Mail comments:

    Cameron's Britain.

    Fair point.

  • hhahahahaha. Candleinthewind. You couldn't make it up.

  • The paper hasn't spoken to anyone and I do not want my name on here!! NICK SYMES

Holy shit!! I had to check if I was truly on Pistonheads! My how things have changed. My last forum obsession down that forum used to lead to proper wars against Cyclists.
