2013-05-07 - Multiple Riders Down, Millbank/Thorney Street

Greenbank

Just by the Millbank Tower and the junction of Thorney St.

3 or 4 riders down but all looked like non-serious injuries. Blood on the road but it looked like it was from the nose and/or mouth of one rider.

Lorry stopped alongside in the road but I don't think it was involved at all given its position (not turning and nowhere near the side of the road). I think it had just stopped to keep other traffic away. So I think it was just a coming together of bikes with no motor vehicles involved.

I came upon it probably a minute or so after it had happened, enough people had stopped to help out so I carried on, an ambulance was just coming over Lambeth Bridge as I was.

Don't want to be a killjoy but on behalf of Object, who will be along any minute I imagine... This is a rider down thread and as yet we have no indication how serious. I'm sincerely hoping we get to change the thread title to something funny and tack it onto one of the seasonal mass cycling hilarity threads, but perhaps not just yet.
