For sale due to lack of use is my newly built up track bike.
Started out as a commuter build, so the frame i choose has a couple of dings on the down tube, but you don't really notice them. Stripped the paint and polished frame. Aluminium with carbon fork. pretty sure is 59 ctc square.
Cane creek threadless headset, thompson 80mm X2 (I think) stem, oversized alloy bars with grips and bar plugs, thompson inline seatpost, concor black suede saddle, black ominium cranks and external BB, running 48t chainring, KMC 710 chain, surly 18t sprocket, alloy 50/50 pedals with holdfast straps... all brand new, been around the block a couple of times.
Black deep V's on formula hubs, straight and bomb proof with 28c panacar pasela tan wall tyres, both seen a bit of use on another bike but still in excellent condition.
It was built up to be an all round solid bike to thrash about on, but then i left London again and only took 1 bike with me so this has been sat in a mates house for 6 months. I've asked him to get a photo, this is the only one i can find for now, but all the rest is as described above.
I will be in London, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week and would love to clear this from my mates house if possible. I know you don't recoupe what you spend so i'm asking a little over half what i've spent at £600.
Might be interested in the om nom noms if you decide to split.
2nds omniums if you split
Dibs on saddle, pedals and straps and 18t sprocket. Pm'ing
To all the pm's and to clarify
Bike is in hackney.
I'll only be available for viewing on Tuesday and Wednesday as I don't live here anymore.
Therefore no time to split and meet everyone. If you want parts I'd think buying it complete and selling what you don't want will get your parts for free. Need it gone complete, so make me an offer, you never know!
Suit some 6' or over
Pedals black and silver
Think that covers all the questions asked, cheers
For 600 notes what frame is it?
That I've forgotten, will have to hook out old photos before it was stripped and confirm later. It's oversized aluminium with fluted tubes. When I researched the make there wasn't a huge amount of info, but he was an Aussie track rider and what I found out they were a well built frame.
Sorry to be do vague, I literally haven't seen it for so long... Worstforsaleadvertever
600 notes seems a lot for an unknown aluminium frame, tbh.
It's not unknown, I just don't know what it is at present. Plus it's
More than the frame. Add up the second hand value of the components alone is about 600. Anyway, those who are interested feel free to make an offer, those who aren't need not.
Sorry, didn't mean to sound rude. Somehow missed your post above.
Drop it over to our place and I'll split it if you don't find a buyer before then. Would be good to catch up..pint?
does the frame have bottle bosses on the seattube by any chance???cheers
No bottle bosses i'm afraid. Nice one chops, i'm just trying to sort a key to stay in Nelson's room, so i'll definitely be about. You still got a spare set for Flat 5?
