I am a second year Computer Science undergraduate and have just come to the realisation that I might actually have to find employment in a couple of years time, and it might be quite a challenge to find a job without some decent experience.I have explored a few channels but everyone on this board seems to have interesting and meaningful jobs, so I thought it might be worth advertising my labour here.
In terms of what I'm looking for, I would ideally like to do something within the context of Natural Language Engineering and/or Machine Learning. I have experience with NLE in Python. I'm also fairly good with SQL and Java. I'm fairly open with what I'm looking for, as long as it is broadly within an IT context. I am prepared to work for free if needs must (in this economic climate I can understand the need for financial constraints), but if I were to work for free I would only be looking for a part time vacancy, as I do actually need some monies for university.
If you/your company has anything that might be worth looking at, feel free to point me in the right direction. I am (relatively) friendly and reliable. My CV and references are available, so please do get in touch!
Are you around LMNH tomorrow?
If so, come and say hi.
Hi there! Ahhh, I'm not currently in London. I'll be back on Friday morning and over the weekend if you're around at all? Alternatively I have Skype.
OK, so what are you doing Friday afternoon? And are you near Waterloo or can get there?
Or perhaps Friday evening if you want to meet at Silicon Drinkabout? http://www.silicondrinkabout.com/
