Excelent stuff Stu, squad meeting at Belgo Centraal, when Bernie is back in town and secure van hire. I'll get route(s) sorted, planning to tackle most if not all the famous climbs over two days. Could be back to back century rides on offer.
I'm in Antwerp tomorrow for meetings, I'm gonna invite some if our consultants there too.

I might be interested in this. I've been wanting to ride in the Ardennes for some time-I've driven around there in a car wishing I was on my bike.
However I will have a few difficulties to overcome, so I can't make a commitment immediately, but I'd like to be in the loop.

Tbh I'll probably drop hero status if there's a road bike I can borrow. Long fixed rides are my bag but not in a group of road bikes bombing every downhill

the only bombs we'll be dropping are B52 cocktails.. bernie will probably end up taking the low-pro just for fun..
we need to make sure the vansters collect loads of spirits from Carrefour, its gonna be so messy.also not forgetting champagne breakfast on eurostar again to brussels

If Paris-Roubaix and Ronde van Vlaanderen are considered pilgrim sites for cyclists. Then let the Ardennes be our Mecca. As we happy few, our band of brothers and sisters pay homage to the Leige-Bastogne-Liege, liberate beers, eat wild boar, sleep / dream about the oldest bike race in the world then leave forum skidmarks in all four corners of this holy cycledom.. PS routes need refining, rough planning
