For Sale: Cougar Track Bike

Decided it's time to let this go. Bought it last year with a horrific build, so decided to kit it out with some lovely parts. It really is a head turner, the fastest bike I've ridden and very responsive indeed! You can also see from the other pictures it has a 'GB' sticker and 'Paul Jones' on the left side of the top tube, so if anybody knows if this is significant let us know..

I just can't capture the paintjob with my camera. Looks pretty washed out in some of the pictures but trust me it is really bright and vibrant. Think it's chromed underneath. There are a few nicks here and there but no dings etc. The decals could do with a makeover in places but I think these are relatively inexpensive on ebay. For sizing, I am 6ft2ish, 34 leg, and found it a touch small but still okay. I think 6ft give or take a bit would be fine.

All parts are in very good condition. More pics:http://s1172.beta.photobucket.com/user/j-meds/library/Cougar%20Track

  • Not sold yet, but potential buyer is going to get back to me tonight with a decision.

Edit - thanks for the comments Tommmm, but be happy with your lovely GW roadie. Looks great.

  • thats an effin' shame jon, great bike! if i had anything near money i'ld be dibsing parts. i don't have, but i could be dibsing parts and don't follow up. or buy it as whole and hang them parts on a frame that fits me.. really, everything ticks the right boxes for me. good luck!

  • Dibs saddle if you decide to split.

  • Damn, J. Sorry to see this one leaving the stable, I hope it finds a new home here. Secretly been very jealous of that frame, only now saved by the fact it's too small for me.

...and those wheels...and that Chainset... damn!

    GLWS

  • Thanks B (and R. too^^^) yeah I hope it find a good home here too. I reckon, don't know if you feel, but a silver Zen ring would look stonking on it, to give it the disc feel with the deep silver rims..but that would be up to the new owner, whoever that may be.

    EDIT: BIKE SOLD.
