^^^^^ I suspect you might have quoted the wrong person there?
Also, if that seatpost extension is correct, I reckon you might have longer legs than me :-/

Hmm... that is an awful lot of seatpost. Then again, you can never have to much ;-)

It can come with either but I got it second hand and the owner chose the Dolan road fork.
It will eventually get a fake 3t funda.straight forks with too much rake looking ugly.
Looking good by the way... What the weight of the frame including headset and seat clamp?
frame and seat clamp for size 58 are 1.14kg (acc. to my scales)

^Same on mine.
I threw some old wheels on to take it round the block tonight but I can't find my bloody chain breaker. -

Just been for a ride on this with the temporary wheels and it's a completely different beast to the Dave.
So stiff and quick off the line but I am gonna need a longer seatpost and a shorter stem for it to be more comfy on longer rides, far too stretched out as is and the post has past the minimum insertion line. -

Here's a bad pic of it with the beater wheels.
Slack chain is for Lynchman ;)

• #308
you need the seatpost LONGER?

Fork look fine.

Yeah about 1/2 inch more should be enough for now.
I've got long legs.

I think going up a frame size would be better than getting a longer seatpost/shorter stem.
What reach you'd gain with a bigger frame size would surely be negated by the decrease in saddle to bar drop

50cm saddle to bar drop
I'm pretty used to it.

Do a lots of hamstring stretching and you'll be fine on the drop.

I would go for an alu steerer fork so you can have a handful of spacer under it to help with the saddle to bar drop.

Do you have any torso Indra? Didn't you say you were around 6'? I'm 6'2" and have less post than that

I'm young and very flexible anyway, I can deal with it how it is just not too comfy with such a long stem.

those saddle angles with that drop...

I'm just about 6 now I think, haven't measured in a few months.
I have an inseam of just under 37" though, that's like huge.
I don't have much torso and average to short arms. -

"Slack chain is for Lynchman ;) "
...as is the gigantic stack of spacers upraising the stem into a different dimension to the rest of the bike, I presume.
