OK people, opening post amended for route details.
And in answer to some common questions.
Yes, all timings are for the evening, not the morning.
Yes, the ride is on Friday, 26th April, not the Friday before, or after.
No, you do not need to know anyone to come along, as this could be the friendliest ride on the forum, and a great way to meet friends old and new.
No, you do not have to drink Guinness and all fellow travellers will be welcome.
I am hoping to persuade one of our resident design gurus to design a spoke card, to be sold for an outrageous £4 a pop. All profits to the forum, or a charitable cause, choosen by our leader, without whose tireless efforts, this community would not function.

Probably something best to discuss face to face, but we have had a good run of no "serious" injuries, other than OneLessC's chinos, and no interest from the authorities, and I am nervous about chancing our luck too often, and too openly.
So, not a definite end of an era (man, what an awful phrase) but if "get $#!tfaced on a Guinness Ride" is on your Bucket list, and remains unticked, don't let Friday, 26th April pass you by.
Oh, and did I mention protective foam head gear?

Good to see the Black Lion make a repeat appearance. It'll be a challenge for me to get up there and sink a pint before the scheduled departure time, but a challenge I am willing to rise to.
I would also be willing to help with the navigation back out of the auld country so long as you can put up with my slightly chaotic navigational system, it's generally a combination of Douglas Adams' zen navigation and "oh that looks like a nice road".

I know the way from Highgate to Filthy's and from Kilburn to Highgate, not a direct route and likely to incorporate Swains.

No, taking 30 drunk cyclist through the Euston Underpass is a much more entertaining plan. (Not that they will be that drunk after 1 pub, perhaps we can do it again at the end of the evening).
