Wanted: Chain set and bottom bracket

Bit of advice needed as a bit of a bb novice. I'm searching for a new chain set and bottom bracket. My bikes a 60's Falcon frame, does that mean I need a British chain ring and bb? What, except chain size do I need to make sure is compatible?

If anyone's got one for sale, please get in touch.

You can use pretty much anything, I've had a Falcon from that era and the threading is standard BSC/68mm so a nice cup and cone Tange/Sakea/Shimano etc would go well for the look.

Each chainset has its own requirements in terms of length of axle.

What is your budget?....Is your Falcon 1960's frame going to be part of a road bike or a conversion so do you want a single or double chainset?

I am going to put some parts for sale shortly, including two chainset/bottom bracket combos - Both english thread BB, 170mm arm and they come with the bolts.
