10 speed --> singlespeed? Help!

So I'm in the bizarre situation of needing to convert a 10 speed Tiagra hub to singlespeed. I've got a Wheels Manufacturing kit for 8/9 speed Shimano freehub; will that fit?

I've seen other kits saying that they're compatible witrh 7/8/9/10 so I can't think there'd be an inherent incompatibility, but what about the width?

I guess it will fit as the overall cassette width is the same for 9 and 10 speed (I think).
