I posted a pair of fixed gear wheels with tyres and tubes in an old wheel box I had for 12.20 I think with royal mail standard, delivers within 3 working days I think. Worked fine for me! You'd probably be best doing the same for your front wheel. Your local bike shop may have some boxes that they'll let you have

Thanks, any info on packaging? It's an expensive wheel, don't wanna break it!

Wheel boxes come with the inserts that prop the rims in the box for safe transport when you buy them, if you are planning on going to your LBS, see if they have them in as well. Also usually present in wheel boxes are plastic discs that pop onto the axles to stop the axle getting damaged/piercing the box, they work well. I wouldn't be too worried about the rim getting damaged if you manage to get a wheel box, so no extra packaging should be required. Obviously it's up to you though!

Do you know if Evans would give a wheel box out for free?

It will likely vary by store but I can't imagine they would have a policy against it.

So I've never posted a wheel before but now the time has come.
How do you package a wheel safely/securely?
Which delivery service is the best (cheap/reliable etc)?
Roughly how much would it cost?
It's just the front wheel and is relatively light.
Thanks!
