Have you seen the Road fixed thread? Might have a few of the things you want.
Nice. What handlebars are these?
Cheers! @getoutofbed they are actually just a beater set of (aluminium I think) drops I got attached to a second hand stem I picked up at my local shop. Used them on my commuter for years and liked the narrow width so kept hold and stuck em on this!
Missed my old neo retro Concorde Gavina .It's been 2 years .been looking for the right frame and found this condor professional Reynolds 531 frame set .will be sticking on a mix Shimano groupset and parts bin for the rest.
Here's the condor professional 531
I'm currently building a '77 Gazelle I picked up at "Stalen Ros" a fair which is held every year in Ghent, Belgium.
I'm inspired by the pink 'n purple Koga Miyata I found in this thread, and I will paint mine in the exact same colour scheme.
Components are 100% new! I will be using SRAM APEX/Rival 1X11 mechanical. Carbon 50mm hoops, Carbon (chinese) seatpost, Fizik Carbon saddle, Schwalbe One 30mm tires…
I've built it up tot test the frame, which was welded at the seattube, and to test compatibility. All worked well. Headset and stem will be replaced by black components, and stem will be a little shorter than the 130mm thats on there now.
126mm chainstays had to be opened up to 190mm in order to stay put at 130mm :D Thank god for 531 tubing :D
That Condor reminds my of my newest build colour wise. ;)
This. Building it with (semi-) modern parts.
Oh a eddy Merckx I like it.
Was it my koga you talking about.
1991 Corsa Extra (Max tubing) in Kelme livery. Need to mount the front derailleur cable and it's ready (for summer weather). :-)
^^ Nice Koga.
The next owner took it to the next level
always loved Koga. A mate (back in 1992) had a Full Pro Titanium with Dura Ace 7400. Boy, that was a bike...
this was it! thanks for sharing
Please share the end result would love to see.:-)
Brought this Batavus Professional frameset from a member on here last year, hoping to get time this year to build it up with some modern campag goodies and some carbon hoops.
Batavus look cool in them colours .What campagnolo groupset are you thinking off .in case you like my mates potenza groupset it's nearly brand new the groupset and wheels are for sale .
Was built and only rode a handful off times.:-((
Took the retro mod '85 Alan out for a ride today.
This seems as good a place as the wanted ads to ask, I’m after some shallow profile light carbon clinchers suitable for 10spd Campagnolo. Anyone got anything suitable up for sales?
