Peugeot 753 Pro
Nice! I'm literally building up one of these as we speak with Force/Red. Its a 126 rear spacing so did you cold set it or just squeeze the wheel in? Havent seen another of these despite looking for a while, lovely frames!
Yes it’s such a good frame, very light and really nice to ride. 130mm rear wheel went in very easily - I have built quite a few old frames with new wheels and haven’t had any problems. Sometimes need to gently pull the dropouts apart to pop the wheel in - couple of mm each side is no big deal. I’ve never needed to cold set. Give a shout if you have any problems!
Love that. Just right.
Uhhh that's quite nice that
Awesome picture Gaston!
Petition to ban bikes with quill stem adapters from this thread.
wish I still had my old winter bike
I've got an ultegra groupset spare and am eyeing up some retro frames. In terms of the build, what's the deal with the BB, will modern ones fit or am I looking for some sort of convertor? I know it depends on the frameset but.. in general
Threaded bb cups are readily available - just get the right one for your frame (ital / bsa) and your crank. Gxp, ht2, square taper etc!
Frame for sale in the classifieds
Sorry for being away for so many months! BIG SORRY to @gaston (he knows why) but I'll keep my word (next week I'll ship the "goods" to you).
I'm thinking about starting to ride this scapin with zipp 303. What do you think?
Super nice ! (Which year is this scapin by the way ?)
One of the nicest bikes on here.
can't know, for sure, the year of the frame. I bought it second and. It has a 1' fork so...
Ok ! I asked because I now have one with a quite similar color scheme (from 2000), but with a 1'1/8 fork.
mine is older than (I think)
I also have this one (also with 1' fork)
Should be an Eos. @noca has two beautiful KS Pro.
Thanks ! Mine is EOS indeed.
How do you tighten the seatpost on yours ?
There is an Allen screw in the left seat stay, a very neat and elegant solution.
