It's completely pointless 99% of the time. I ride this bike for work more than anything else and wanted less stuff to look after. Also the novelty factor.
If I actually went on road rides, 2x11 would be the clear choice.
42t with 12-29 is perfect for my city / winter bike. Most winter miles are done in Essex.
eBay with the goods
yeeE! finally i c another mega rapid! i have that same frame and the ride is sooo good! great bike you have there!
Isn't this an old group set on a modern(-ish) frame?
Maybe an incoming project ;)
Newish groupset on oldish frame . Few things to sort out but really like riding this bike at the mo.
It’s a mix, but I’m not mad at it.
Such a dreamy frameset
Its an upcoming project! Didn’t get that. Now that’s something to look forward to!
ah naw, i wish. just lurking ebay's new listings and screenshotting. sorry to get your guys hopes up.
although, i did recently get a tommasini that i'll post when fully built to make up for it.
What wheels are these?
Cheers for prompt response. It’s a beautiful build
Shit picture, wrong side, but a lovely bike nonetheless. Locked up in the church square in Saumur
I assume this qualifies:
This thing is super fun
There's another thread for MTBs here
Man, I used to have a Tequesta that was the very same as this. Sold it for £30 before I thought retro mtbs were cool now wish I had it back 😭
@Señor_Bear ah sorry
@Mcamb nice ya they're fun!
Building this up today. Still trying to decide between silver Red parts or a black Force/Rival mix.
I think black was the right move.
Here's my mates mix up groupset. But rides so smooth.
