Just checked my collection of stems and seems I don't have a 26 clamp one, so I'm after a 100mm one in silver too

531 straight gauge is 26.8, IIRC

Far from straight forward.....even metric 531 d/b can be 27.0mm rather than 27.2mm

Ok so splashed out on some new clips on wiggle for a tenner, as I think I'm gonna be running 49/17 on this build I'm after a 17t miche cog aswell now

Just measured. I can get the calipers to squeeze down to 26.3mm but that's not a common size, especially for 531.

Ah cool, you reckon the size will be universal then? Makes sense

Also, is that the one from eBay that sold for tuppence ha'penny? I run mine geared. I'd rather keep it a original as they are rare as hens' teeth.

Seat post and saddle have arrived, for a combined price of £25 which I am very happy about, especially seeing as the saddle decals match the frames'.
