• Really? I was finding it hard to find 26.4 actually, makes sense...

  • Just checked my collection of stems and seems I don't have a 26 clamp one, so I'm after a 100mm one in silver too

  • 531 straight gauge is 26.8, IIRC

    Also 26.6mm and 26.4mm

Far from straight forward.....even metric 531 d/b can be 27.0mm rather than 27.2mm

  • Also 26.6mm and 26.4mm

:'( Think I might take it too my lbs and get them to measure it for me

  • Ok so splashed out on some new clips on wiggle for a tenner, as I think I'm gonna be running 49/17 on this build I'm after a 17t miche cog aswell now

  • Gazelle Triathlon Trophy? 26.4mm.

  • Yep, you sure? :)

  • Just measured. I can get the calipers to squeeze down to 26.3mm but that's not a common size, especially for 531.

  • Ah cool, you reckon the size will be universal then? Makes sense

  • Also, is that the one from eBay that sold for tuppence ha'penny? I run mine geared. I'd rather keep it a original as they are rare as hens' teeth.

  • Nah I got it off here, how much did the one on ebay go for?

  • Not much. But it was terribly listed.

  • Seat post and saddle have arrived, for a combined price of £25 which I am very happy about, especially seeing as the saddle decals match the frames'.

  • Also now looking for a silver 49t chainring, as well as the other stuff in OP

  • I did get this finished in the end with a bunch of second hand parts, here it is:
