Non-aero mainly for comfort, it's up to you on which one feel comfortable, gut feeling the non-aero is more comfortable.
Having said that, the non-aero make fiddling with the brakes a lots easier, you don't even need to untightened the cable from the brake to take it off the brake levers.
Oh and give me the tandem, there's a good boy.

Ha yeah that's what I figured... the non aero ones are much better quality too.
That tandem is another project, funnily enough another super galaxy! Still got a bit of work to do, it was kept outside unridden for about 20 years. If you're ever in cambridge and fancy a go let me know!

So a friend of mine invited me to cycle from land's end to john O' groats this summer... none of my bikes are suitable, so I have 4 weeks to build up a frame of mine whilst training!
So far I have a few pieces knocking about in my garage:
Super galaxy frame
ultegra crankset + BB
Brake set
stem
seatpost
Dura ace front mech
Any thoughts on whether I should use the aero or non-aero levers?
The other choice I have to make still is shifters; it's probably going to be a 5 speed. Advice/opinions welcome!
