Wanted: Parts for my project: Rear mech, wheelset, shifters, handlebars, saddle bag etc

Ok guys, I've just been invited to do john o groats to land's end with a friend... I have some nice bikes, but I'm not sure they're suitable, my dawes galaxy is too large and has issues, so I am going to look into finishing my super galaxy. So far I have quite a lot done, but I have 4 weeks to acquire and fit the following:

Drop handlebars, 25.4 clamp, ~38cm wide

Rear mech: I have a dura ace front (not sure which year) so same would be nice, but ultegra would also be lovely

Wheelset; I want something in excellent condition, either a rear 700c with 32+ spokes, or a 27" set, let me know what you have. Rear spacing of my frame is 120mm.

Shifters; would go with sti's but I don't know any that do only 5/6 on the rear... any suggestions? alternatively, I can handle bar end, or even humble downtube shifters, but please something nice!

Also a saddle bag for bits and bobs could be handy, never had one though so I'm all ears on that!

Those bars sound good. 'Fraid I need a band on, the shifter would be for the drum brake on my tandem as recommended by sheldon. If you pop me a pic of the seatpost that'll help me decide on that, it's for the one bike which I take care over aesthetics.

may not be the post for you then, has Genesis down each side, some rub from my saddle bag and insertion marks below 11cm from top of post (not inc clamp)

some pics of the bars too- bit of pitting around the centre but sure it will polish out no probs.

Still looking for a seatpost! I'm happy taking those handlebars though, thanks harv!

I actually have one of those on my holdsworth... possibly a little old but if nothing else comes up soon I'll get back to you? How much were you thinking? just so I have an idea
