After all your DIY activity that's what your kitchen floor looks like? I am disappoint!
Why not keep the seatpost and go the full Gaston?

I had considered that, however I'd prefer to set the Langer up to be dual purpose with two sets of bars:
- Short stem, bullhorns and TT bars
- Normal stem, drops
So I would want to move the saddle forward far enough to get a decent position when down on the aero extensions, but not so far (Gaston.fr) that it's unusable with the drops on.
- Short stem, bullhorns and TT bars

(I am aware that compromise leaves no one happy)

Just turn the seat post round 180 degrees when you swap the bars and swap the saddle at the same time

You are already.
And also flip that stem. -

Then the writing will be upside down!

To be honest the stem is not working- I'd like a -6.

Bought this the other day, but I am changing the purpose of the bike and need to get further forward so would like to exchange it for an inline post with the same dimensions.
It's about a week from being brand new.
