  • Ahh - remembered fondly

Without doubt the one of the stiffest frames I've ever ridden.

  • Got 160 up front and 140 on the rear.

    Getting on just fiiiinnnneee

Was whipskidding the little biatch all over the place on Saturday!

  • The actual built of my Dale !

  • Thought I would offer these bits to the Cannondale bunch first.

I have the cockpit, headset, seat post and matching fizik arione from the 2014 Cannondale Hi-Mod Evo Supersix. I could never get to grips with the Arione, which has only done a couple of hundred miles, so is near mint. Otherwise the cockpit has some minor scratches and the seatpost has a few more, but I will upload pics for everything this evening.

Let me know if I'm miles out on price.

    Seatpost: FSA K-Force Carbon, Di2 27.2×350mm - £55

Cockpit: FSA K-Force Carbon Compact :

    1. 150mm Stem - £40
    2. 44cm Bars - £60

Headset: SuperSix EVO, 1-1/4" lower bearing, 25mm Carbon top cap - £20

    Saddle: Fizik Arione - £90

  • 150mm stem....

    Shitthebed

  • It was swapped to a 100mm immediately - could hardly reach the hoods without a 20 minute warm up before hand....

  • That said it might be 130mm and I might need to check more before posting......

  • Yeah, 150mm would almost be custom made territory..... Highly doubt it'd ever come on a stock bike.

  • Cockpit: FSA K-Force Carbon Compact

    150mm Stem - £85
    44cm Bars - £130

    Good luck

  • It was down to a very bad fit I had. Ended up on a 58cm frame with a long stem. In comparison, saw Scherrit a couple of weeks ago, 56cm tt with a 120mm stem....

Moral of the story is to avoid going to a TT and Triathlon specialist for you fit.

  • Just looked at prices online and took 40% off. What do you think they should be going at?

  • never ever ever quote RRPs on FSA.

    RRP divided by 8.

  • I know they are a bit meh, didn't realise the pain was going to be that bad.

Apart from the saddle am I better just keeping this stuff for holding candles?

  • FSA = OEM = CH€AP

Realistic prices would be £40 for stem, £60 for bars.

    There is always ebay.

  • Thanks, will amend.

  • I didn't have the heart

  • Without doubt the one of the stiffest frames I've ever ridden.

Interesting to see how I'll get on with it. Might try to squeeze in 28c tyres.

  • I keep my cold dead heart in a box under the stairs

  • I expect the cats have eaten it by now.

  • Have you checked that box lately?

I suspect it's full of glass and swarf...

  • Not sure it'll fit 28's - might be mistaken - I used 20mm Vittoria Open Corsa CX's on those Spinergy's!

  • Whoop. Joined the owners club today. Good news, my new Synapse Carbon 105 (2015) arrived today. Bad news, it arrived about 30 minutes ago, so it's already too dark to take it out for an inaugral spin.

I'll now go back to lurking, and return in six months when I have enough money to ask what wheels I should be upgrading to.

  • I'm not counting on it either, but checking with callipers looks like it might be possible.
