I've got an unusual one here?
2001/2 CAAD3 Road Warrior 800 - Its an XR800 sold as a flatbar with a Triple crankset.
Intending to initially build up with DA 7800 for cross.
Does anyone have the integrated farsports cockpit on their Supersix/Systemsix? Tempted by a second hand hi-mod frame (pictured) but not sure if I can get the f1 stem/bar on.
My calculations indicate you need 40mm of length for the stem itself, 5mm for the 3d printed spacer and then the 7.5mm Cannondale provided spacer (the smallest one you can get) directly onto the head tube? Can anyone confirm my assumptions?
This could be v good.
I love this bike more with every ride... Stanmer Park, Brighton.
Lovely, super rare and tons of potential.
Very nice of you, might take you up on that!
This is the road bike i want but with DBAD tech.
Looking forward to the build thread!
Ask and ye shall receive sir. Hopefully that gives you an idea of depth.
been looking for this frame for a long time but had to skip two complete bikes for good money when My pockets were empty last year :-(
Oh and after I built up a pseudo dirt bike based on a small M800 frame to join my little one on pump tracks, i came across the 24“ CRUISER frame with track dropout (advertised as large BMX back then) and thats an ultimate want now, too!
Caad12 disc replacement forks, are they easy to buy/where from?
Anyone here know what year SuperSix this model was ?
2013 I think:
@Chalfie I think you might struggle to find a cannondale replacement except through a dealer.
Perhaps a Hylix replacement:
They do come up on Ebay from time to time as i've been thinking about sticking a disc fork on my track frame. There's a CAAD13 fork for a fair price which i think is the same steerer dimensions (dbl check) and wouldn't look horrible on a yellow frame.
Yes, I've been looking at caad12 frame on eBay so was just thinking:
"where's the fork?"
"why no fork on this frame, what happened?"
@PhilDAS might be selling the full frameset for a price that would make it worth it ?
Is he a 52?
I'm a 28 waist, 36 chest
But no, it's a 56cm
Keep going, almost finished.
Just thought i‘d leave this here (not mine)
Didnt know this model before, and I think it looks like a lot of fun (especially in this build)
