The elusive rim brake SuperSix. You got a keeper there.
Keeps the weight down and I'm never going to be riding on the continent so who needs disc brakes anyway? Just need to sort out some light alloy wheels for the summer.
Deffo. Rim brake model was only made for the 2019 MY I think. Don’t see many of them in the wild!
I was lucky. I think it was the last 54 they had at Sigma Sport. TBH, it's a far better bike than I'll ever be as a rider.
it looks way batter than a disc. however the rear brake routing doesn't look optimal
You're right the routing doesn't look ideal but the direct mount brakes have good modulation and are definitely a step up from the older dual pivot ones on my #1SS. Probably helps having clean, fresh cables. For me the only downside with them is the extra bracing bridge that they need behind the calipers. A bit clunky looking but again its just aesthetics - function wise they're great.
possibly. i know which one i would ride over winter on salty roads :)
That's useful intelligence, thank you @JoePablo
SystemSix(?) rat bike on FB marketplace for a bargain £100
It’s just a “Six” I think. Still can’t go wrong for £100 though*
*unless it’s fucked
Leaving this here, hope you like it

first fase done.
Been slowly updating this the last six months and recently splurged on some tarty LB wheels. Pretty much done I think. 90% of it probably sourced via the forum in one way or another...so cheers all!
@xpinarellax nice, too! Maybe a seatpost with less silver?
Pls fit 53t big ring
Otherwise moderate to high levels of banging.
@e54 @greeno both absolute belters, great work. Setting an impossible standard for my soon to be rebuilt CAAD9!
@Howard my puny little legs can't handle it...will try my best!
@jono84 - your CAAD9 was a ripper; am sure it will be again.
yes! gonna do it all black and white. I just put it together with stuff I had in the bike room unused. I'm loving it, stiff as f*ck!!!
been enjoying and tweaking my caad r700 for a few weeks. it's a budget build <1k made with whatever leftovers i had and whatever came my way.
No PB better not be referring to Peanut Butter.
@greeno that is just perfection.
when it comes to the secret fuel, it should say YES PB !
@greeno asked me to post this for him
