  • Hmm. Maybe if I put the levers on 2 it would make for a better comparison.

  • Definitely, without it you're just another one of those hippy hoppy slavery.

  • Could you maybe post photos of the whole bike in each setup, and slightly more horisontal..

  • I seem to develop inner ear problems when I try to photograph bikes.

  • Definitely, without it you're just another one of those hippy hoppy slavery.

I'm going to run this bike with brakes, just didn't bother putting the levers on.

  • 2 might look better if rotated up a bit so an extension of the top tube centre-line bisects the apex of the bend

  • Hey Dammit, nice fixie!

  • My coach said I should get one.

  • My coach said I should get one.

    Fo real?

He must be some switched-on dude.

  • slightly more horizontal..

    Still doesn't look quite right.

  • ^looks good!

  • Still doesn't look quite right.

Looking right might be as simple as adding some bar tape?

  • Heh, that's not quite as straightforward as you might think.

The bars pictured need to go on the road bike, the bars currently on the road bike need to go on this.

Both sets of bars need levers putting on, then both need wrapping.

    =Not happening tonight, Josephine.

  • wont the bars in picture two need to be rotated upwards if you want to have a flat transition to the hoods?

  • Flat transition is very 2012

  • No comparison

Pic 2 looks great. Will be alot more drop tho. R u comfortable with either?

  • What are all these melts talking about?

Slammed and neg degree stem and deeper drop carbon bars. or GTFO

  • ^repped

  • I need one of those cable doubler things, but in reverse- so that both brake levers operate the front brake- anyone know what I'm talking about?

  • problem solvers do one, pricey though

  • Google says ...
    [strike]You want a BMX Gyro detangler a-la[/strike]

Edit: further reading suggests they work, but are a bit rubbish

  • ^^ I've got one of those, the cables are too short to split to two levers.
