One suggestion: have a look at the Gazelle Champion Mondials that are regularly posted here. Some of them are track frames. Various advantages of the GCMs:
- Very sweet ride, lovely frames.
- Not fashionable (Dutch maker that mostly has a reputation for step-through Euro-clunkers), so relatively cheap.
- Large quantities were made and are still around, so cheap.
- Ticks your boxes for lugged and reynolds tubing (usually 531 or 531c). Some have chrome forks. The track versions should be as braze-on free as you want.
You can see examples of track GCMs that have passed through this forum here and here.

Looking to start a project but am having trouble finding a frame I like.
Ideally I'm looking for a drilled track frame, lugged, reynolds tubing, chrome fork, 54 or 55cm, horizontal dropouts, no braze-ons, but would consider something close to that.
Thanks so much,
Paul
