Hey Spidey, use your superpowers against the forces of oppression.
And riders of e-scooters.
What spider bites like that? Sure it's not a Mozzy bite?
Found some more false widows in the garage today. They seem to like it in there.
^ Almost certainly that bite.
Think I got bitten by a spider a couple of weeks ago. It blistered, went rank, started to heal, then blistered again around it.
As unpleasant as that might be, it kind of reminds me of the cookie monster
First of the kids butterfly’s has burst into the world. 9 more to go
Might get that tattooed once healed
Difficult to tattoo post-amputation.
The best before date for these must be pretty short? B^P
Certainly a great conversation piece for the coffee table.
Lovely, Painted Lady? Will you be releasing them or attempting to breed them and release an entire cloud of butterflies?
Yes painted lady, no we will release the lot in a week or so. Another one hatched but was on a zoom call
8 more chances to witness the hatch...
Who's this little tubby fella?
Nicely camouflaged moth in Epping Forest
Think Bush Cricket... same as up thread. 😎
I could hear him but it took me ages to actually find the little grasshopper in my garden
Is this big fly Tabanus sudeticus?
I think it might be a hornet hoverfly
Yep I think you’re right, hornet hoverfly—it was pretty big!
The clearing out of half our house has made some of its residents homeless. This spider is carrying its brood to safety, and the smaller one is supervising a crèche.
Is it true that these things kill Giant House Spiders aka Cardinal Spiders?
Never got my head around the power/size mismatch.
