Sorry, but that website looks dodgy as f***. Those prices seem fair to me.
-
• #6
I can confirm that the website is a scam, run by the same cunts who run this one...

I've checked prices on the bay and took a bit off so reckon they're fair, thanks for the bumps though :)

What do you use the EF 28mm f1.8 for? Buildings? Just wondering..
I would buy them both but my cameras barely exist the house these days. :(
-
• #15
^ mainly for outdoor / landscape stuff. Also good for street if you're into that
all comes down to what you like really
-
• #16
that 28mm is yummy for a full frame
-
• #17
28mm is actually good for taking pictures in small flats, hippy (that is assuming you've got a full frame camera like a Canon 5D, 7D or 1Ds). It's also very fast for a wide lens.
On a camera with a crop it's good for 3/4 pictures of people

What's the scam, sLimJim?
Fairly simple, they take your money and dont send you a lens.

bump and reductions
Canon EF 50mm f1.4 - great condition, always had a filter on so no scratches to either front or rear element - £185

NO!
Stop making the prices too appealing!Everything tells me I should take the 50/1.4. on fleabay ones with busted AF motors go for similar price, but already have a 55/1.4 and 55/1.2 m42 lenses.

I need the f1.4.
I can't spend money atm.
I'd probably be able to find £150 if you get desperate. -
• #23
the 50 is fantastic, you won't get disappointed :)
so is the 28 btw, wink wink nudge nudge

I know, and it's a bargain and I know you're really generous, so I don't want to take the mickey.
I do need one, and I do really want one, but I"m about to leave my job so really can't justify it.
Still, let me know if you do get desperate enough to consider my offer.
Or,any bikey stuff you need Kboy? -

Only bike bits I need would be a black swept back bar to make my steamroller comfy whilst remaining stealth. And a Campag Veloce 51t front ring... Otherwise I'm surprisingly content (never thought I'd be able to say that when it comes to bike bits!)
