  • Strava doesn't talk to Garmin Express? What? Bastards the lot of them... why can't they just let me do what I want with my data?!

What the actual fuck?? Garmin Express won't let me upload to training peaks or GC either, and whats more they don't even save the files into a location that I can access for manual upload.

What a massive bunch of hideous belms!

    Uninstalled.

  • I never have a problem...
Allow it to upload to GC. Then click view details on the activity, and download it in TCX form, which then you can upload to wherever.

  • You can use tapiriik to sync between GC, strava etc. If that's what you're trying to do.

  • Garmin Express is shit- they've hobbled it. I removed it and went bank to ANT Agent.

That said, GC now auto-uploads to Training Peaks if you configure it to.

  • Upload to strava from the device.

Let GC auto upload from the device. TP syncs with GC so is taken care of.

    It's not difficult.

  • I have to say, using strava is so much nicer now I don't have to see what challenges people have entered or any of that boring stuff. So much less cluttered.

  • how? by going premium?

  • ah, thnx umop3pisdn

    will give it a try

  • So many people doing repeats of Highgate yesterday for the Waffy Rising challenge.

Having said that, so was I, but it seems so much less hassle when you're taking the relaxed route and you're with your mates...

Jammy did 2k of climbing yesterday...

  • Cummon then... how about a Strava challenge. Somebody else has to have a go at this.

I kind of want to do it again but need a reason to.

  • Pretty stupid segment, lots of right turns so having to cross lanes of traffic. This is the kind of strava stupidity that attracts the people it deserves.

Could someone maybe ask someone else to port this to Firefox pls.

    Kthx.

  • ^ Haha, yeah I'll ask him.

It's not actually so terrible to do because the right turns you have to do aren't on Green Lanes

  • Author of the Chrome extension here. Let me know if you just find it useful or if you have any other feedback or wishlist.

(No Firefox version I'm afraid; I just don't use that browser.)

  • Brilliant work lamby

  • Clicking the options button inside the address bar icon menu crashes Chrome (on OSX 10.9). Access via the extensions page works fine though.

Crashes Chrome itself? Neat. I think that's something to report to Chrome directly.

Whilst entirely possible, sometimes social problems are not best fixed.by technology.

In other words, get new friends :)
