ALSO anyone know a good vintage-looking gumwall tyre that wont shred when I skid it a couple of times? this will be a sunday/tentative track bike, and will be brakeless, so need the security as it were...
I find Panaracer Pasela's to be full of win, and hard wearing too. I'm running a front brake and skid from time to time and they're doing me well.
Good luck with the build!

Yo, hope you had a banging christmas, building up my dream tarck bike, need some nice bits, from 50s/60s... which no one got me this year... typical.
headset, track pedals/clips/straps, 27.2 seatpost - preferably loong, brooks sprinter/swallow..
I have a beautiful cinelli badged stem, which is missing the badge (haz boltholes and oval patch of shinier chrome) but Im pretty sure its too long, so if anyone would be interested in swapping it for a shorter track one, or a major taylor or something then Im all ears... or if you have a badge even!!
if anyone has a baylis wiley lockring Im missing one... long shot I know.
cotter pins, any lying about? or even better, a sexy cotterless chainset from the period?
