  • ed, have you tried bacon sandwiches?

He probably mounts crumpets to the crusts to carry spare honey.

  • or if you steal someones chips do they taste better with mayo or red sauce?

a dollop of each beside each other and mix that sweet pikey 1000 island in the middle....

  • So, is this really so bad that I like riding bike to the pub and back?

  • ...there's too much glorified colour supplement commuter fashion angst to wade through.

...5mile pubcrawls with spokecards and a trip to A&E..

Well I did think of you when I read this bit Kris...

  • ed, have you tried bacon sandwiches?

    Or even better - butter.

  • One word for you DJ - mudguards.

  • Fuck off!

My pub is 8 miles away!

sometimes Kris you gotta stop trying to live your life up there

and start living it down here.

  • Fuck off!

My pub is 7 miles away!

  • So, where's this fight then? I can't find nothin.

    This^. Where n what?
I wonder if they're all on Bikeradar?

  • My that is quite a trek, do you have a specially built bike for making the journey?

Don't fucking mock it! I had that Supreme sticker imported from the States.

  • I am going out in this weather on 19 inch tyres with no mud guards.

I'm trying to find a thread to find the correct numbers, but I'm pretty sure the number of regular posters/users is into the high hundreds, early thousand/s, than the small number you mention.

@ Scoble, why was there a need to lighten the mood/atmosphere. Part of the reason people enjoy the forum so much, and also one of it's failings is that too many people would rather be funny/witty, than serious and engage with a problem/discussion in an adult manner. I'll just drop in a funny one liner, or a gif, or a meme and you know what everything's alright as we slide off into another tangent..

  • ed, have you tried bacon sandwiches?

    Bacon Sandwich in SW19 please...

  • Bacon Sandwich in SW19 please...

    Euph?

  • ^ and ^^
watch out santimonious blackfoot will have a pop at you for derailing and trying to lighten the atmosphere

1150 have posted more than 100 but less than 500 times : running total: 27050

My original guesses were based on the fact that when I do log on here I don't encounter 28,000 different people...I would've guessed it's about 100...

So I've always been surprised by the frequent claims of huge membership, I guess it's down to how you personally want to measure the size of the user group....the figures here don't take into account members who are no longer active, or frequency of posts or how recent posts were.

  • We also sometimes talk about bikes too. As well as all the bitching, back-biting and removal of knives from our backs...

  • 50% of the 100 club have posted less than 100 times.
