I am after some better brakes. So SRAM Rivals or Dura Ace etc. Levers and Calipers..

Want to replace the standard tektro brakes that are standard on the Langster 2011.

He wants to know what drop you require, as you've mentioned Rival & DA then one could presume std 37-49mm caliper drop with AK fitment and drop bar fitment for the levers.Might want to mention if you want non aero, aero or sti brake levers?

Dammit

I'd strongly recommend upgrading the pads (Swiss Stop green for example), and if that does not bring about a dramatic improvement, replace the cable and outer and adjust every part of the braking system so that it follows the Park Tools (or similar) guide to setting up your brakes.

Modern dual pivot brakes don't tend to get dramatically better- they just get lighter, and a bit better.
