That's correct. Only front derailleur is XT as I didn't have a 28,6 diameter DX.
Love that groupset , had one years ago on my Jamis Diablo
Yes, it's a very decent and reliable groupset. You still have that Jamis? They never were very popular here in Belgium but I liked their geometry.
Yes l have lent it to a friend at the moment
I’m thinking of building back up with retro group frat frameset tho
There was a bit of seatpost chat a few pages ago that I've just caught up on, and if anybody has need for a really short 25mm Thomson Elite (black, inline) to fit an old Look frame I've got one that I no longer need.
It's 175mm from centre of rails to the bottom of the post, so it's unlikely to fit safely in the majority of cases, but thought I'd put it out there anyway.
could be a nice project. :-)
Another look to the family stable:
Took this guy out for the first time this year. Rolls so well 😊
Really love all of these bikes,
Thought I’d drop this here since I came across it and really appreciated the colour way. Maybe someone might be interested.. Sadly bit too small for me but the condition of it is immaculate. Reflected in price I suppose..
Nice 👌 got to say that colourway is growing on me... wasn’t a fan of the look logos skew at first...
Found this website while looking for a 25mm seatpost earlier on,
New old stock Look framesets and Ergopost ti seatposts
Good spot, granted looks like all the frameset are for taller riders.
Old Credit Agricole colours, I once won a brand new KG231 frame on ebay for £160......
For @HoKe collection
@mattyc will inevitably say... is that ergostem for sellz??
YEs, but again if I was a lot taller or had longer legs...
Talking of CA... does anyone want this nice Nalini kit for £15...
if S, yes
Second dibs please.
I wonder if anyone here has a nice look frame for sale sized 59+?
How about this?
Excellent contender for the classic @Rod_Munch fishy looking bike treatment
Anyone happen to know the torque specs for a Look RePost? managed to borrow a torque wrench
this manual for the similar-looking RSP post says 4 Nm for the lower bolt, 7 Nm for the upper. i'm a complete carbon novice and terrified of destroying something. was gonna start with 3 and 6 Nm...
question for @Hovis does the Look 595 have one continuous cable outer running through the top tube to the rear brake? It seems to...
