  • Ugh. That is all.

  • Sorry to miss the gathering this time round. Keen to get along to the next one. Meanwhile I'll highlight a few bits and bobs here (which can be collected from me at Souths sometime or in central London.

  • I'll be at Souths in a little bit. If you get this, and if you are coming, and if you will have the Altura for me to look at.

  • Just seen this, sorry! Couldn't make it to Souths tonight but should be present and correct next week. Unless you are super-keen to have a look - I'm only over in Col du Herne.

  • Eh, Col du Herne is not out of the way at all! However, given my schedule this week I'll have to play it by ear. We may not make it to Souths next week as have another dinner to do this week.

  • Not sure if this is the best place for this, but I've got a few bits in my charity-shop bag that are a wee bit good for the RSPCA-
a Howies short denim skirt, never been worn out of the house, cost me £40. Size 10-12, is a bit big for me (well, it rides up a bit).
Yours for a few quid's donation to a decent charity, or a couple of pints, or £5 or something?

Plus a pair of black Decathlon padded tights, size 12, too big for me. Not top-quality but would do as a spare pair/ would prob be quite good if they fitted properly and didn't sag every time you move. I don't want anything for them and am only posting them here as I can't see a charity shop being able to sell 'em..

  • Can I have the skirt Kate?

  • Yep! Except I'm pretty sure it'll be waaay too big for you- you're smaller than me aren't you? Anyway, shall I drop it down to the pump track one day? (maybe on my bmx, haven't ridden it for months)

  • yes I can try it on and if it is bigg i put it here again. I have a big boom!

  • boom! love it!

  • I could take the Decathlon tights off your hands if you like...

  • Patricia will be at Cambridge Polo Tournament, afternoon of 5th, and will have a couple of pairs of SPD shoes for small dainty feet, Shimano ATB/general style size 36. Also a pair of Diadora road shoes size 37. Used for only a few rides, no cleats £15 each pair.

  • ^they're all yours opiumia! would you like to PM me your address and I'll post them to you? Or collect from some forum event/ beers?

  • K-C - that would be dandy. If you drop in to South beers ever I could pick them up from you (I'll be there on Monday). If you're over the other side of town I'll let you have my address and you can let me know postage costs.

Haven't got around to listing them here but I have some basic Spesh Sonoma shoes going. The spd bits haven't been cut out so if you want a firm-soled shoe for clips they might be ok. Anyway - tiny, size 36. As new. Also have a pair of Pearl Izumi winter overshoes (size 36/37) - new. Both for £30 if anyone is interested?

And... pair of Altura baggies with liner (new) - £20 and pair of Polaris baggies without liner (£10). Alturas are L - 14-ish, Polaris are 16.

  • Utterly shameless bump.

I'd say sorry, but I'm being shameless.

  • Ooh and there's me not even replying to your PM- shameful, so sorry! Will pop 'em in the post.

  • Hiya, parcel received! Many thanks! (shall buy you a beer when we cross paths).

  • My pleasure my dear. I will try to make it to souths one day but I usually swim on Mondays so don't make it that side of the river. Just pop a coupla quid in a charity box!
And sorry it took so long. #foreverdisorganised

  • Does anyone want a quilted Barbour jacket, blue, £60? Size Small which is a 12.

Apparently the sleeves on the womens come up short and I'm not liking it.

  • Anyone want a toasty warm winter jersey? Worn once, but turns out its a touch too big for me and its too late to return it now.

Gore Bike Wear ALP X Thermo Lady Jersey

Really nice quality with loads of neat features. Its a UK 12, perfect condition. £40? (RRP £84.99).

  • Pair of Sealskinz ultra grip gloves anyone? I bought them a while back but they haven't had much use. I wouldn't say they would keep you dry in a monsoon (I used them for the last really wet Ride of the Falling Leaves out into Kent but it was torrential). Then I forgot I had them. These days I'm a bit of a wuss and unlikely to ride if it's pissing it down.

    Size small (7-8).

£10 anyone? Can deliver to Souths or post.

  • are they warm, or just waterproof (/resistant)?

  • I found them to be warm (they're lined). I don't think the lining is merino like the newer ones (these gloves are 3-4 years old but I wore them only about 4-5 times). They've got quite a long cuff too so you don't get a draft between jersey/coat and hand.

  • Does anyone need a mixte frame & Forks?

    Burgundy colour, stove enamelled.

    Going cheap. £50 posted?

  • what size? I might be very interested!
